Fire & Stone is a board game for 2-4 players aged 10 and up.

In Fire & Stone, players lead their tribe of early humans from the African cradle of humanity out into the world. They explore new regions with their scouts, hunt, gather nuts, mushrooms, apples, and root vegetables, and ultimately build villages. The player who successfully guides their tribe through the Stone Age by expanding and developing will win this game by successful author Klaus-Jürgen Wrede. The inventions of new tools and techniques, such as shipbuilding or pottery, help to accelerate progress even further.

Each space that the scouts can enter contains flipped discovery tiles. When a scout first moves onto one of these tiles, they are flipped over and trigger an effect. From then on, these tiles can be used as a player action with a different effect. At the end of the game, the player who has fulfilled lucrative task cards and skillfully positioned huts will win. Each game develops differently due to a random setup, and a mysterious cave adds an additional twist each time.
