The zoo veterinarian has plenty to do. Whether it's a chimpanzee, giraffe, or panda baby, every animal in her veterinary practice is quickly nursed back to health. First, the patients are examined on the operating table under a lamp, then surgeries are performed or wounds are treated, and all animals are cared for. The veterinarian stores animal food on the roof of her practice. When she is not in her practice, she rides her bicycle through the zoo to check on the animals in their enclosures. She carries food and medicine in her bicycle trailer.
