the model looks nice, the assembly is very simple, also suitable for children, the car corresponds to the 2021 model and not the 2022 model.

Far too expensive "thanks" to unnecessary licence

    Edit:

Adjusted my rating after 5 months. From 3 stars I now go down to 2 stars. The reason is that the model is now slumped and dragging when stationary. The construction is simply faulty. I have cannibalised this set
and am of the opinion that it is simply not worth the money.

I wanted to "treat" myself to another Technic set and ordered this one.
The end result arouses neither positive nor too negative emotions in me. Unfortunately, the biggest point of criticism in my opinion is the price, which ultimately does not justify the product. It's sad that Lego clings to the licences and has also completely cancelled the B models. Because exactly this model has nothing in common with the actual real model of the 2022 Mclaren F1 racing car.

As a generic racing car without a licence and without the flood of superfluous sponsor stickers, this set would have been acceptable at a normal price.
In retrospect, I just bought another set that doesn't really satisfy me.

Would I buy it again? Only if it were offered for less than 100 euros, which of course will never happen "thanks" to the absurd price policy.

    Pro

    • Price

    • Tumbler Tyres >> wtf??
