The FA-120R3 is the upgraded version of the FA-90R3, featuring 33% more displacement while being lighter and more powerful. The typical model size is .60 - .90. Thanks to its radial engine configuration, this motor is suitable for many models from the golden age of piston engine aircraft. Technical information: Displacement: 19.18 cc, Bore: 22.4 mm, Stroke: 16.2 mm, Weight: 890 g (with exhaust manifold), RPM range: 1800 - 10000 RPM, Propeller: 13x8 - 14x6. Fuel: Glow fuel with 15% nitromethane.

Who doesn't know the stunningly beautiful 4-stroke engines from Saito? For years, they have been known for their highest quality and reliability. Saito engines gained fame during the era of glow engines. Always designed as 4-stroke, they come in a black housing with a golden valve cover or simply in a silver housing. Later, modern large-displacement gasoline engines with various cylinder configurations followed, also in the typical 4-stroke design. These gasoline engines quickly became popular, being regarded from the start as powerful and reliable. Gasoline engines have a lower fuel consumption than glow engines, and the fuel is significantly cheaper. The electronic ignition allows for starting the engines without a glow plug, greatly improving user convenience compared to earlier engines. Typically, regular unleaded gasoline is used in combination with high-quality 2-stroke oil at a ratio of 15-20:1. An English-language manual is included with the engine. FA120R3.
