The Jersey cow originally comes from the Channel Island of Jersey, a small island off the coast of Great Britain. The Jersey cow looks at visitors from her black eyes over the pasture fence. She will come right over, as she is very friendly. Friends are even allowed to pet her typical yellowish coat. She loves such affection. Gently, she nudges with her black nose: Don’t stop! She is only 1.20 meters tall, making her much smaller than her peers. Together, the herd stands in the pasture, where they always find lush grass. Everyone is very happy about regular visits.
