Product details

The evangelists report that at the Last Supper, besides Jesus and his apostles, many other people were present. It is assumed that some of them were in the same room while the others were spread around the house. Just a few days earlier, Jesus had entered Jerusalem surrounded by a large crowd, and many disciples went to the dining hall on Mount Zion to celebrate Passover, the highest festival in Judaism.

In Jerusalem, Anno Domini, various communities of Jesus' disciples, who have come from the surrounding villages and towns, embody this. They want to participate in the Last Supper and sit as close as possible to Jesus and his apostles. To do this, they play cards and gather resources. Your goal is to send as many of your own disciples to the Last Supper as possible. The closer they are to Jesus and his apostles, the more points you will earn at the end of the game.

The most important element of this game is the cards and the order in which you play them. Each card shows the symbol of one of five locations in and around Jerusalem in the top left corner. By playing the cards, you form sets of these symbols. With the right sets, you can seat apostles at the table of the Last Supper, which also brings you advantages. At the same time, you want to plan the actions that the cards allow you to take so that you can gather the right resources at the right time and send your disciples to the Last Supper.
