At that time, the chassis was often painted white. Until 1963, the cabin with the distinctive alligator hood was used by Ulm fire service experts for the TLF 16 tank fire truck, before the corner cab took over. The driver's cabin and crew compartment are red, while the chassis and fenders are white. Ladders are mounted in brown. Rims are black. The grille features a silver frame and the Magirus logo, with headlights, door handles, and trim also in silver. Side body printing includes the black inscription "Emergency Call 112" on a white band.
