1. Vallejo Surface Primer - Ger. Green Brown (73.606)
The Surface Primer is available in a variety of base colors that are most commonly used to prepare the surface of the model or miniature before the painting process. Primers can be applied to all surfaces, including resin, PVC, brass, white metal, or wood. The primer preserves even the smallest details of a model and enhances the adhesion of the colors applied on this base. It is recommended to apply the primer in several layers; the product dries quickly and forms a homogeneous film of exceptional strength and durability within a few hours after application. The Surface Primer can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For the best care of the airbrush, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Once dry, the Mecha surface resembles the original plastic of the model, while the smallest details of the original remain clearly visible.
The color palette includes primers as well as special paints, also with an exclusive formulation, and a range of colors for aging and weathering effects. It is recommended to apply the Mecha colors in multiple layers on the previously primed surface. A few hours after application, the colors are dry and form a homogeneous coating of exceptional strength and durability.
Mecha Color can be airbrushed directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colors can also be applied with a brush. The recommended compressor setting is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For the best care of the airbrush, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Premium is a range of acrylic colors specifically designed for airbrushing and for optimum adherence on surfaces such as fiberglass, polyethylene, polycarbonate, metal, and Lexan. Premium has been formulated with permanent pigments and a new, extremely resistant hybrid resin of acrylic-polyurethane. The Premium range contains matte and opaque, transparent, metallic, and fluorescent colors, and includes specific varnishes and auxiliary products of the product line. Premium is especially recommended for painting motorcycle helmets, fuel tanks, surfboards, and similar surfaces exposed to hard wear, and resists impacts and cracking as well as direct exposure to heat. The Premium colors resist fuel residue proof of up to at least 35% Nitro. It is recommended to apply Premium in successive layers on previously primed surfaces. A few hours after application, the Premium colors will form a homogenous film of extraordinary strength and resistance. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI, or 0.5 to 1 kg. For a final, especially resistant protection, a final (2K) urethane varnish is recommended, applied by aerosol or airbrush. Painting tools can be cleaned with water.
