Autan Protection Plus tick protection
100 mlProduct details
The protection from a single application of Autan Tick Protection lasts up to 12 hours against ticks and up to 10 hours against mosquitoes. The active ingredient Icaridin helps keep ticks and mosquitoes at bay. It is important to apply the product thoroughly; otherwise, mosquitoes will target areas that have not been treated with the repellent. After this time or as needed, you should reapply. We recommend using about 6 to 7 sprays or approximately 1 ml for the area of a forearm. Please note that Autan is not waterproof. You should renew the protection after bathing or swimming. The effectiveness may also diminish due to sweat and abrasion, so you may need to spray more frequently as needed. For application on the face, we recommend spraying the product onto your palms and then spreading it on your face, avoiding the eye area. Mosquitoes can also bite through very thin clothing, so the product can be applied under clothing as well. Thorough application is always crucial. When using Autan alongside sunscreen, we recommend applying Autan after the sunscreen has been applied. Disposal note: Do not reuse the packaging; instead, dispose of it in the recycling collection. Use biocidal products with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.
