These things simply die at some point. With luck, within the warranty period.
But that has improved a lot. My experience after 10 years with these things.
Just buy the same one again at the next sale.
The charging station with the mains adapter is no longer the best.
Always clean well. Limescale and toothpaste residue hinder the charging process.
The scope of delivery of the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 sonic toothbrush includes a 220V charger. There is no USB charger included, but a conventional charger that is plugged into a socket.

The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 electric toothbrush is primarily designed for adults, but there are no specific restrictions that prohibit its use by children under the age of 11.
Here are some points to consider:
- The toothbrush has simple controls and ergonomic handling, which makes it user-friendly.
- It has two intensity levels, including a sensitive level suitable for sensitive teeth and gums.
- However, it is advisable that an adult supervises the use and ensures that the child uses the toothbrush correctly, especially the functions such as the pressure sensor and the timer.
It is always a good idea to speak to a dentist or dental hygienist before a child uses a new toothbrush to ensure that it meets the child's needs.
Ordered the black model last month, it comes with: 1 brush head, 1 handpiece, 1 charger.
I'm not sure about the white variants as I didn't order those, but I think:
- "Light Blue, Mint, White" variant: 2 brush heads, 2 handpieces, 1 charger, 2 travel cases.
- Variant "Blue, White": 2 brush heads, 1 handpiece, 1 charger
- Mint, White" version: 1 brush head, 1 handpiece, 1 charger
The last variant seems to be offered by Digitec itself as well as by "techmania CH".
However, I don't know why all the variants cost different amounts, nor why it all has to be so complicated.
