How is the pulse (heart rate) displayed on the screen? I can only see the maximum and minimum pressures on the video and photos of the device. Do I have to do anything to the device to see the pulse? Or does the pulse only appear on the smartphone after the data transfer process?

The pulse rate is displayed on the screen alternately with the pressure, once the pulse rate and then the blood pressure.
