Galaxus brings dm drugstore to Switzerland

Galaxus is further expanding its network of partners as well as its Health + Beauty sector. Thanks to the exclusive collaboration with dm-drogerie markt, Germany’s top drugstore chain, 300 products from selected dm brands are now available at Galaxus, with more to come.

Galaxus is also a drugstore – the leading Swiss online retailer has been selling health and beauty products since 2017. Customers can currently choose from a huge range of over 140,000 articles. Thanks to the partnership with dm-drogerie markt, Germany’s top-selling drugstore chain, Galaxus is further expanding its product range. By the end of October, an initial 300 products from selected dm brands will be available exclusively at Galaxus. dm-drogerie markt runs more than 2,000 dm stores in Germany and a total of more than 3,700 stores in a further twelve countries across Europe.

Switzerland joins ranks of «dm countries»

Until now, dm-drogerie markt was nowhere to be found in Switzerland. This is no longer the case. As of right now, Galaxus has around 300 products on offer from popular dm beauty brands – all of which are highly sought after by consumers in Switzerland. These include Balea, Balea Men, alverde Naturkosmetik and ebelin. An ongoing expansion of the range is planned, with further dm products being added by the end of the year.

«High demand in areas close to the border has shown us that our dm-brand products are very popular in Switzerland. Our collaboration with Galaxus allows us to make these desired brands available to everyone in Switzerland,» says Kerstin Erbe, who's responsible for product management at dm as General Manager. Right from the start, Kerstin Erbe was impressed by Digitec Galaxus’ many years of experience in Swiss online retailing.

Florian Teuteberg, CEO of Digitec Galaxus, is also delighted with the new partnership. «We’re very pleased to be working with dm-drogerie markt. This will allow us to offer our customers an even wider range of products in the Health + Beauty sector,» says Teuteberg. «dm fans in Switzerland can rejoice! Starting now, they can have their favourite products delivered to their doorstep hassle-free.»

Due to significant import fees, customs clearance and storage costs, Galaxus is unable to offer the same low prices for dm products in Switzerland as dm-drogerie markt in Germany. However, customers can benefit from attractive quantity discounts and, as always, fast and free delivery from a minimum order value of 50 Swiss francs.
