Pia’s picks: these designs outshine standard vases

Flower-inspired vases turn every bouquet into an eye-catcher and also look great in their own right. Plus, they can do something others can’t.

Sometimes, all you need is a vase that looks like a flower. With soft shapes and flower-like details, they are pretty to look at and make arranging bouquets easier.

These vases don’t need flowers

Flower-inspired vases don’t strictly need a bouquet to shine. The best example? The Savoy by Alvar Aalto for Iittala. Modelled on Finnish lakes, its flowing shapes are also reminiscent of a flower. Each one is handmade, mouth-blown and therefore unique – a luxury that standard vases simply can’t offer.

While conventional, cylinder-shaped vases often only serve as neutral containers, these designs are really striking. Their organic shape brightens up every room without even needing a single flower. Naturally, they also look great holding beautiful bunches of flowers.

Smart and pretty

The flower-shaped curves on these vases not only look good, they also keep the flower stems exactly where they should be. So no more fiddly arranging like with classic cylinder vases. All you do here is pop the flowers in and you’re done. The result? A bouquet that’s perfectly arranged and looks fuller and more harmonious.

Why conventional is no longer an option

With or without flowers, these vases are small sculptures that add character to your home. Instead of looking plain and generic, they set new standards in terms of style. After seeing these designs, you’ll wonder why you ever settled for conventional vases.
