VM-2UX is a compact 1:2 high performance distribution amplifier for studio standard 4K signals with 12G transfer rate. It auto-adjusts the data rate of the SDI input, equalises and re-clocks the signal for increased range, and distributes the signal to two identical SDI outputs. - Secure wire connections - Studio-quality coax cables provide secure connections with lockable BNC connectors that prevent accidental interruptions and deliver uncompressed SDI signals quickly and extremely professionally. - Long range - Extra long ranges are achieved by equalising the input signal and re-clocking the output signal. When using high-quality Kramer coax SDI cables, the following ranges are possible: 300 m with SD signals, 200 m with 1.5G HD signals, 100 m with 3G and 6G HD signals and 80 m with 12G 4K signals. Please note: The range depends on the signal resolution and the quality of the copper cable. When using non-Kramer cables, the range may vary. - Transmitted data rates - From 270 Mbps to 12 Gbps. - Max. Resolution - 4K @60 (4:2:2) 30 bpp. - SDI signal transmission - SDI, HD¿SDI, 3G HD¿SDI, 6G and 12G SDI compliant signals supporting the passage of standard embedded audio channels with additional ID and metadata information. - Easy installation and maintenance - The compact fanless PicoTOOL(TM) enclosure takes up minimal space, and if required, four units can be mounted side-by-side in 1U in the rack using the RK-4PT rack adapter. For easy maintenance and troubleshooting, the unit has status indicators for the transmitted data rate of the input and output signals and for the power supply.
