Product details
Full-frame autofocus lens for cameras with Z-mount. Image sensor standard: Full-frame. Lens mount: Nikon Z. Focus: Automatic. Suitable for portrait, street, and still life photography. Supports face and eye detection. Easy switching between automatic and manual mode. The AF 50 mm F/1.8 is a lens specifically designed for full-frame cameras. It is a prime lens ideal for portrait photography but can also be used on cameras with APS-C sensors, where it acts as a lightweight telephoto lens.
The optical structure of the lens is F/1.8, and it features a 62 mm filter thread. The aperture can be adjusted in increments from F/1.8 to F/16, either manually using the aperture ring on the lens or through the camera. Eleven blades in the diaphragm create a soft bokeh effect. The autofocus is driven by a stepping motor, ensuring fast, quiet, and precise focusing. The minimum focusing distance is 50 cm.
With a 50 mm focal length, you can capture more details and emotions, reproduce real scenes without spatial compression, and better express the surroundings of the subject in your shots, making your photos full of life. With a bright aperture of F/1.8, the lens maintains shutter speed in indoor and low-light conditions and provides an instant response while creating a blur effect that highlights the subject.
In autofocus, it is no longer just about how precisely and quickly images are captured, but also how quietly and smoothly it operates. Thanks to the newly developed STM (Stepping Motor), a larger and heavier lens group can be focused more quietly and accurately, resulting in excellent image quality for both photos and videos.
