The SP series from Allied Telesis provides flexible, full-duplex Ethernet connectivity. These hot-swappable fiber and copper interfaces are easily inserted into the SFP slot of any SFP-compatible device. The configuration can be optimized to meet a variety of distance and service requirements.

Compatibility

The Small Form-Factor Pluggables (SFPs) of the SP series from Allied Telesis are supported on Allied Telesis devices with SFP uplink ports.

The SP series SFPs are Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) compliant and fully adhere to industry-standard networking protocols. This allows the SP series to be used with other MSA-compliant platforms that support SFP uplink ports.

Options

The SP series SFPs provide solutions for short-range, long-range, and bidirectional (BiDi) connections. This flexibility allows network managers to easily expand network distance and bandwidth.

Using an SFP BiDi transceiver can increase transmission capacity in a typical network—without the need to install new fiber—by utilizing a single fiber for both transmit and receive signals.

Various Temperature Ranges

Different network environments require a variety of temperature ranges. The SP series is available in standard (0-70°C), industrial (-40 to 85°C), and extended (-40 to 105°C) temperature variants.
