Product details

The ALLNET ALL1682511v2 is a 500 Mbps Homeplug AV Wireless N Adapter that combines Powerline and Wireless LAN in one device. It establishes a network connection to other Homeplug AV adapters through the 230V household power grid while simultaneously communicating with wireless devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets via its 300 Mbps Wireless LAN interface (selectable between IEEE802.11b/g/n or IEEE802.11a/n).

Additionally, the ALL1682511v2 Homeplug AV Wireless N Adapter features two RJ45 network ports for connecting wired network devices. The highest encryption standards for Wireless LAN and Powerline, which can be activated at the push of a button, ensure secure data exchange across all interfaces.

Quality of Service (QoS) for HomePlug provides the necessary bandwidth for modern multimedia applications such as Broadband TV (IPTV), higher data rate broadband sharing, online gaming, VoIP calls, audio-video transmission over the network, and IP camera connectivity.

With an average power consumption of less than 7 watts, the ALL1682511v2 Homeplug AV Wireless N Adapter meets all the requirements that modern Green IT products must fulfill today.

The integrated Wireless "ON/OFF" button of the ALL1682511v2 also allows users to turn off the WLAN part at the push of a button when not needed, further reducing power consumption.

Its compact design, no larger than a standard plug power supply, enables discreet installation without covering adjacent power sockets.
