It simply screws onto the corresponding 92 mm fan, effectively preventing dust from accumulating inside the case. The airflow of the fans is only minimally reduced by the coarse metal mesh. The filters are very easy to wash and therefore reusable. The black filters make the most visually appealing impression, which is why we have them in larger quantities than the other colors in stock.
