The Arduino Portenta X8 is a high-performance single-board computer designed for the next generation of the industrial Internet of Things. This board combines the NXP i.MX 8M Mini, which provides an embedded Linux operating system, with the STM32H7 to leverage Arduino libraries and capabilities. Shield and carrier boards are available to expand the functionality of the X8, or they can alternatively be used as reference designs for developing your own custom solutions.
