Equipped with powerful Class A HDBaseT technology, the VE2812PR is a receiver for 4K HDMI video, audio, and control signals over distances of up to 100 m using a Cat 5e, 6, 6a, or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable. The HDMI signal transmission extends up to 150 m at 1080p when the HDBaseT long-range mode is activated.

To optimise flexibility, the VE2812PR is supplied with 2-way PoH capability, allowing either a PoH PD-capable Tx (VE2812AT series recommended) to be powered remotely by the locally powered VE2812PR, or enabling power distribution along the cable from a PoH PSE-capable Tx (VE1812T recommended) to the VE2812PR. With the audio de-embedding feature of the VE2812PR, the audio signal from the incoming HDMI source can be extracted and then transmitted to external audio distribution systems via the coaxial or stereo output. The VE2812PR provides users with added convenience when it comes to extending control and communication signals through the integrated RS-232 and bidirectional IR ports. Additionally, it is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports HDMI specifications such as 4K2K, 3D, Deep Colour, and CEC for the reliable transmission of high-quality uncompressed HDMI content.

With all these highlights in a compact housing, the VE2812PR ensures easy and unobtrusive installation, keeping the presentation area tidy. It is ideal for small to medium-sized spaces where 4K HDMI and control signal transmission over long distances is required, such as in meeting rooms, lecture halls, and digital signage applications.
