The Hardened Steel Extruder Gear Assembly is made of hardened steel and is an internal component of the extruder unit. It consists of a driven gear and an active gear that work together to feed the filament into the hotend. This extruder gear, made from extremely durable materials, is particularly well-suited for printing with resilient technical filaments such as PAHT-CF and PET-CF, providing long-lasting performance. If replacement is necessary due to wear or clogging from prolonged use, users can simply replace the extruder gear without having to replace the entire extruder unit.
