Product details

Do not connect an LGX® stepper motor to a printer cable without checking the wires and pins of the connection cable. Not all printers are ready for a direct connection with the LGX®. Some use unprotected stepper motor drivers that can be damaged as a result. Before connecting an LGX® to a 3D printer, ensure that the connector pins are wired as shown below.

10 cool features of the Bondtech LGX PRO:

  • Stronger 30 mm stepper motor
  • Larger drive wheels for better filament grip
  • Tension lever for consistent results
  • Multifunctional interface socket for quick tool or application swaps
  • Maintenance window on the drive wheels for easy cleaning
  • Compact, lightweight, and symmetrical design for enhanced performance and compatibility
  • Multiple mounting holes for easy and flexible setup
  • Drive train made of fully hardened steel
  • Housing made of PA12 GF for improved mechanical and thermal resistance
  • With the additional aluminum interface connector, you can connect longer cables

4 additional mounting points: Use the included bolts to replace the 4 screws of the stepper motor and use them as additional mounting points. Be aware that the threads of the stepper motor are made of aluminum and are sensitive. Do not use too much torque when tightening the bolts. Preferably use only finger strength. You will find these bolts in the accessory bag in your LGX® package. They have an M3 thread with a depth of 4 mm.
