The Cloudlifter CL-4 is based on award-winning Cloudlifter technology. It uses phantom power to generate an additional, extremely clean +25 dB signal. The Cloudlifter enhances the performance of passive microphone signals by providing a stronger and cleaner signal that is ultimately routed to the mixer or preamp. The rack module is compact and straightforward, occupying one rack unit. On the back, there are two pairs of inputs and outputs with balanced XLR connectors, making the CL-4 suitable for broadcast and live applications. The patented technology preserves the audio signal throughout the entire signal path from transformers, processors, and capacitors. The CL-4 operates with Class A and discrete JFET circuits, achieving first-class clean amplification while maintaining the natural sound characteristics of the source.
