Cokin H300-02 Gradual ND Kit includes 3 filters (P121, P121M, P121L). By using Cokin gray graduated filters, photographers and filmmakers can influence the light reaching the sensor as required and desired. This Cokin Gradual Neutral Density Kit is suitable for lens diameters from 48 mm to 82 mm. It is the ideal set to add to the existing Cokin equipment and gray graduated filters.

In many situations of outdoor photography or landscape photography, the contrast between ground and sky is extreme. If the subject near the ground is to be correctly exposed, the sky may become overexposed, and image information may be lost that cannot be retrieved even in post-processing. If you want the sky to stand out and create a bit of drama in the picture, the background will most likely be underexposed. Without gradient filters, photographers and filmmakers are forced to find a compromise that often results in flat, low-contrast images.

With the use of Cokin graduated filters, this problem can be solved easily and quickly. By gradually darkening, the darker areas of the image can be perfectly exposed, while the sky can be darkened using the appropriate gradient filter. Since it is a plug-in system, the area to be darkened can be placed simply but precisely where the photographer wants it or where the composition requires it. There are therefore no limits to creativity, as other possibilities can also be realized with the Cokin filter kit.

The Cokin gradient filter kit contains three different gradient filters: the GND2 filter (N° 121L) reduces the incident light by one f-stop, the GND4 graduated filter (N° 121M) reduces the incidence of light by two f-stops, while the GND8 filter (N° 121) darkens the light by three f-stops.
