Product details
The Gryphon barcode scanner is reliable! Whether in retail, logistics, transportation, pharmacies, or the gastronomy sector – the Gryphon GM4500 from Datalogic is everyone's favorite thanks to its proactive scanning features. The handheld scanner fits comfortably in both left and right hands, boasts an elegant design, is intuitively operable, and impresses with its internal qualities! The Gryphon is equipped with a new wireless charging function, allowing the barcode scanner to be charged quickly and easily via induction. Since it has no charging port, it is less susceptible to damage and therefore more durable. The transmission of scan data occurs wirelessly via narrowband radio thanks to Datalogic's Star Cordless System. The Gryphon scans 1D, 2D, and optionally Digimarc barcodes at high speed – all with eye-friendly white backlighting. This type of illumination is better for reading low-contrast, colored barcodes. The Gryphon features a very high depth of field, enabling it to capture poorly readable or damaged barcodes in no time. Thanks to its Datalogic Motionix motion sensors, it automatically switches between the necessary scan modes during handheld operation or when placed in the stand. The barcode scanner is particularly robust due to its IP52 certification and its resistance to drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters. Its charging/transmission station has a multi-interface with USB, RS-232, and Keyboard Wedge.
