The Delock USB Bluetooth Adapter enables wireless communication and data transfer, for example, between two PCs or between a PC and a mobile phone or network. The Bluetooth adapter can remain connected to the notebook at all times, as it only protrudes about 5 mm from the USB port. With the Bluetooth 5.0 standard, this adapter consumes less power and offers a faster data transfer rate. Additionally, it can be easily paired with devices. Without barriers between the sender and receiver, connections of up to 200 meters are possible outdoors, with a transmission power of 100 mW.

Furthermore, data packets can now be up to 255 bytes in size instead of the previous 31 bytes. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the overarching term for the networking of smart objects.
