Performance at High Temperatures The advantage of an all-metal construction means that the V6 can comfortably reach 300 °C with the included thermistor. If you want to print at higher temperatures (up to 500 °C), you will need to use a plated copper heating block along with a PT100 or PT1000. You can print with standard materials such as PLA, PETG, and ABS, as well as high-temperature materials like polycarbonate, Ultem, nylon, and PEEK. Easy to Use The V6 features a cartridge-shaped heating block that allows for straightforward replacement of heating cartridges and temperature sensors. Replacement thermistors, PT100s, and thermocouples can be inserted into the block and secured with a set screw, making maintenance simple and hassle-free. Precise Our all-metal heat break ensures a sharp thermal break for better control over filament extrusion; it enhances starting and stopping during extrusion, as well as more effective retraction, and combats oozing and stringing. The all-metal heat break has a refined inner surface finish to reduce extrusion force and improve retraction reliability. This hotend is delivered pre-assembled.
