More than secure | Everything fits together. The EDIMAX ONVIF switch series significantly enhances IP surveillance networks: They support the ONVIF Profile Q standard, which is compatible with ONVIF-compliant devices with profiles G/Q/S/A/C/T/M, providing fast and easy system setup, device detection, and user authentication.

Protection measures. The built-in power feeding protection and PoE detection function ensure that the PoE network remains safe and efficient.

Strong data processing. With a backplane bandwidth of 56 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 35.7 Mpps, the GS-5424PLC V2 allows for maximum bandwidth utilization without delay.

Robust failover mechanisms. The GS-5424PLC V2 has two stored firmware versions as a backup. This allows the backup firmware to be activated immediately if the currently used version encounters issues.

Overcoming distances. While conventional Ethernet switches have a distance limitation of 100 meters, the GS-5424PLC V2 offers an extended power and data transmission distance of up to 200 meters in long-range mode at 10 Mbit/s full-duplex operation on a per-port basis. This is ideal for applications over long distances, such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, access points, and PoE-capable IoT devices at remote locations.

Safe protection against power backfeed. Each port is equipped with backfeed protection to prevent damage to the PoE ports when non-standard power supply devices are connected.
