The USB 2.0 to RS-232 cable with A connector provides a serial RS-232 high-performance UART 16C550 output. It specifically supports an external voltage of +5V on pin 9 of the connector. It is designed to expand an additional serial output for PC, workstation, or server via the USB 1.1, 2.0, or 3.2 Gen 1 bus. With easy installation, there is no need to open the computer, and the EX-1311-2-5V can be installed while the system is running. Two nuts are included, which can be easily replaced with the knurled screws if the connecting cable has screws.
