The FiberX products are the ideal solution for transmitting video and audio signals over long distances using fiber optics. The FX-I350 AOC hybrid cable, made of copper and fiber, allows for the transmission of A/V signals at full 4K / UltraHD / 2160p@60Hz over distances of up to 100 meters. Thanks to hybrid technology, all HDMI data (e.g., EDID, HDCP, CEC, etc.) can be transmitted from the sender to the receiver for the first time. This also includes the 5V line of a conventional HDMI connection, which unfortunately cannot be transmitted over pure fiber optic runs. All products in the series are 3D-capable and provide full support for HDCP as well as "Real Pass through EDID" in real-time, making EDID learning unnecessary. The built-in chipsets are also equipped with a reclocking function and naturally support digital audio. The FX-I350 series is available in lengths from 10 meters to an impressive 100 meters, each with pre-terminated HDMI connectors on both ends. The cable must not be connected the wrong way around - the ends are clearly marked.
