Silk Dual 1000g filament - High gloss - Easy to print - High rigidity. Silk filament is an FFF 3D printing material made from a hardened, high gloss polylactic acid modified material. It offers excellent flexural strength and stiffness, is easy to print, and provides a silky surface finish. The filament can be used on various FFF 3D printers.

Recommended printing conditions:

  • Nozzle temperature: 190-220 °C (220 °C recommended)
  • Build platform temperature: Room temperature to 60 °C (40 °C recommended)
  • Building surface material: Tempered glass, BuildTak, carbon fiber plate
  • Nozzle diameter: 0.4-0.6 mm (0.4 mm recommended)
  • Cooling fan: 50-100%
  • Layer thickness: 0.12-0.3 mm
  • Print speed: 60-90 mm/s (60 mm/s recommended)
  • Travel speed: 60-120 mm/s
  • Ambient temperature for printing: Room temperature to 40 °C
  • Retraction distance: 1-2 mm
  • Retraction speed: 30-50 mm/s
  • Support material: Self-supporting, PVA, BVOH.
