In the not-too-distant future, an attempt to harness the energy of the Earth's core leads to a terrible catastrophe: the release of the Sludge God. This fantastic horror immediately begins to turn the Earth into sludge and the living into undead monsters. However, the genius behind the failed experiment devises a plan to solve the problem: all he needs is a team of competent, well-trained mercenaries... unfortunately, they are just terribly expensive. Instead, he hires the Toxic Commandos.
