The Housegard Pebble SA700 is an optical smoke detector designed by Lars Wettren. Its soft and aesthetically pleasing appearance allows it to blend seamlessly into any home.

As the most common type of smoke alarm, the optical smoke detector reacts quickly to smoldering fires and the smoke particles they generate. The optical sensor is sensitive to fine particles, so it should not be placed in areas where it may cause false alarms.

The Pebble alarm features a low battery voltage indicator and a test function. The included battery lasts about a year. For safety reasons, the battery must be installed within the smoke alarm. It is recommended to test the smoke detector once a week and replace it every ten years.
