Product details
PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament for Hamlet 3D printers is a bioplastic derived from renewable sources such as corn starch. PLA is biodegradable and non-toxic. Compared to ABS, PLA is less prone to expansion and contraction phenomena, which facilitates high-quality printing of large objects. The extrusion temperature results in lower energy consumption during the production of 3D-printed models. Items printed from PLA have a shinier appearance but may degrade over time due to their biodegradability.
