The Hammond enclosures of series 1455 are made from extruded aluminum and are designed for housing PC boards or device interfaces. Available with ABS or aluminum end caps. The black stable ABS version is easy to process and comes with an integrated mounting frame, while the aluminum version features two separate black plastic ABS mounting frames and matches the surface treatment of the housing. Designed for housing circuit boards or for device interfaces. Suitable for standard Eurocards. Horizontal mounting of the circuit boards by sliding them into internal slots that are recessed into the housing. Robust housing made of extruded aluminum (larger sizes include a removable "belly" plate) with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.
