You can integrate up to 120 wireless components as well as hundreds of wired devices through a connectable Wired Access Point. You can then conveniently control your entire smart home via an app – either through the cloud or locally, according to your preferences.

Installing the Homematic IP Home Control Unit is incredibly simple: first, connect the Homematic IP Home Control Unit to your router using the supplied network cable or use the Wi-Fi installation. The Homematic IP app will then guide you step by step through the installation process. Done. The attractively designed Home Control Unit in white or anthracite stands securely on a solid surface. However, you can also mount the central unit on a wall using the included bracket.

Integrating your Homematic IP wireless components is also quick and easy via the app. Remote devices are reliably integrated into the system – thanks to a wireless range of up to 400 meters. If you want to integrate wired components as well, first connect a Homematic IP Wired Access Point. You can also use the CCU3 as a gateway to operate existing CCU3 installations through the Home Control Unit or to automatically migrate Homematic IP devices.

Once set up, you can conveniently control, expand, modify, and monitor your entire smart home via the Homematic IP app and with voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant – of course, even when you're on the go.
