Dank Twintuner ist gleichzeitiges Aufnehmen und Fernsehen möglich, die Festplatte bietet 1 TB Kapazität. Zudem ist der Receiver mit 0,2 Sone extrem leise. Allerdings reagiert er auf Eingabe etwas lahm.

Der Humax iCord HD verpasst mit den gemessenen Werten im Rahmen unseres Praxistests knapp den Einzug in die Top 3 der schnellsten HDTV-Twin-Receiver. Bei Umschaltvorgängen zwischen HD-Sendern schlägt der Humax-Receiver jedoch den drittplatzierten UFS 922 von Kathrein.

Der Humax iCord HD bietet ein gutes Bild und mit 500 GByte ordentlich Speicherplatz. Die Aufnahmen im TS-Format lassen sich auch am PC bearbeiten, so dass Sie lästige Werbung raus schneiden können. Allerdings erscheint uns der Stromverbrauch im Standby bei einer programmierten Aufnahme mit 4,7 Watt doch ein wenig hoch.
