Lindy's range of armoured fibre optic hybrid cables offers a professional solution for extending HDMI signals over longer distances. The construction of this extremely rugged HDMI hybrid cable features aramid fibres and an additional armoured jacket beneath the cable sheath, ensuring good flexibility along with high EMI and RFI resistance. These hybrid cables are ideal for critical AV setups and professional installations, such as live events and trade shows.

The maximum pulling force supported is up to 100N, with crush resistance up to 2000N. Despite having a diameter of only 6mm, the cable remains thin due to the aramid fibres and the steel jacket under the TPE sheath.

The connectors are also highly durable, featuring gold-plated pins and enclosed in special protective sleeves to guard against transport damage.

The internal technology provides uncompressed amplification of the HDMI signal, enabling long-distance extension of HDMI 8K content that is not achievable with passive cables.

With a bandwidth of 48Gbps, these cables support HDMI 2.1 resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 120Hz, and 7680x4320 / 10240x4320 at 60Hz. Content can be viewed with incredible detail and clarity at higher refresh rates, making it ideal for movies, graphics, or imagery.

In addition to static HDR, HDMI hybrid cables also support dynamic HDR formats such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+. This ensures that every moment of content, whether scene by scene or frame by frame, features a much wider colour gamut based on the BT.2020 colour space, higher peak brightness, and deep blacks for optimal contrast and greater depth of colour.
