The VM-2HDT is a high-quality, long-range HDBaseT extender splitter that converts an HDMI input with IR and RS-232 control signals into an HDBaseT line signal and distributes it to two HDBaseT outputs, which can be connected to compatible HDBaseT receivers like the TP-580R. The VM-2HDT distributes signals with a resolution of up to 4K @60 Hz (4:2:0) and includes an HDMI LOOP output for connecting an additional device in a daisy chain.

  • High-performance splitter: Distributes an HDMI signal to two long-range HDBaseT extension outputs with up to 4K video resolution and an additional HDMI LOOP output for connecting a local monitor or another device in a daisy chain.
  • Extension splitter: Distributes a 4K @60 Hz (4:2:0) 24 bpp (maximum) video signal over HDBaseT extension cable at distances of up to 40 m and even further for lower video resolutions.
  • Standard compatibility: Works with any commercially available HDBaseT-compliant extension product.
  • HDMI signal transmission: HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 1.4 compatible signal supports Deep Color, x.v.Color, LipSync, 7.1 PCM, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, 2K, 4K, and 3D. EDID and CEC signals (OUT 1 only) are passed through from the source to the display.
  • I-EDIDPro Kramer's intelligent EDID processing: An intelligent EDID algorithm for handling, processing, and forwarding that ensures plug-and-play operation for HDMI source and display systems.
  • Kramer's reKlocking and equalization technology: Rebuilds the digital signal to overcome longer distances.
  • User-friendly operation: Status indicators for HDMI and HDBaseT connected signals and power for easy maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Easy installation: Twisted-pair cables for wiring the HDBaseT signals. Compact MegaTOOL fanless housing for ceiling mount or side-by-side rack installation.
