You travel to the Kalos region, a land full of mysteries, take your first steps into the next Pokémon evolution stage, and can choose from three discovered starter Pokémon. In this role-playing game, you can begin your adventure with the Grass Pokémon Chespin, the Fire Pokémon Fennekin, or the Water Pokémon Froakie. Each of them has special moves and gains experience in battles, allowing them to grow stronger and eventually evolve. In Pokémon X, your Pokémon adventure reaches a new dimension. Every corner of the star-shaped Kalos region comes to life, from the cobblestone streets of Lumiose City to the most remote spots in the wilderness. Lumiose City is a bustling metropolis. From the iconic tower in the center to the busy shops, you will discover plenty. A variety of discovered Pokémon are waiting to meet you. Gourgeist is a Grass Pokémon so large that it can carry people on its back, while Sylveon is a discovered evolution of Eevee. Additionally, there is a mysterious Pokémon that seems to be somehow connected to Mewtwo, and Yveltal, a recently discovered legendary Pokémon. Equipped with your Pokédex, you begin your Pokémon adventure in the Kalos region.
