Bayonetta is one of the last members of the nearly extinct clan of Umbra Witches. She is a master of the Bullet Arts, can use her hair as a conduit to summon Hell demons, and ultimately gets involved in a battle to save the world.

Nintendo characters can now come to life in many new ways as amiibo figures. These are interactive figures that can communicate with specially designed amiibo-compatible games simply by touching the Wii U GamePad.

• amiibo can interact with amiibo-compatible games when players touch them with the Wii U GamePad, reading data into games and saving data on the figure.
• In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, players can fight with or against their amiibo figures and level them up. They can then take them to another Wii U console to show how they have trained and customized their amiibo figures.
• Different amiibo-compatible games will use amiibo in various ways. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be the first game to utilize amiibo. Games like Mario Party 10, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Yoshi's Woolly World are also expected to support amiibo.
