Product details
State-of-the-art functions such as PDAF and I.S. (image stabilisation) ensure that using the Lumix S5IIX is an impressive experience. This compact full-frame mirrorless camera lets you take high-quality photos and videos with unlimited recording time for even more flexibility. The Lumix S5IIX supports recording and playback with an external SSD via USB. You'll also benefit from more efficient backup and post-processing with the ability to record 422 HQ (maximum 1.9 Gbps) and 4:2:2 10-bit All-Intra directly to SSDs, combining portability and high capacity, and share your updates in real time via your favourite streaming method. For recording on the go, you can easily set up wireless live streaming (RTMP/RTMPS) with the Lumix Sync app.
Indoors, highly stable wired live streaming (RTP/RTSP) is also possible. The most important thing about autofocus is that it must be absolutely reliable. The phase hybrid autofocus works quickly and accurately, helping you to capture the desired subject even in challenging conditions with multiple subjects and even in backlit or low light conditions.nlimited video recording in 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p. With a compact body similar to that of the S5 camera, the Lumix S5IIX's optimised heat dissipation structure including fan enables longer recording time even when shooting under heavy load (e.g. high-resolution video above 4K and HFR video).

- Extremely fast autofocus
- Fan integrated in the housing makes unlimited video recording possible
- Improved video functions compared to the S5II
- Very good picture quality
- Somewhat bulky housing
In our test, the Lumix S5IIX from Panasonic secured a place in the top 10 of the best system cameras currently on the market. The fast autofocus and the professional video functions are the highlights of the camera. Since it is also much more compact than its somewhat clunky predecessor, the S5, it is also suitable for use on the go...

- The S511X is an improved version of the Panasonic S511 for videographers. It inherits its advantages such as the new autofocus and the excellent stabiliser system, but expands them to include professional film formats.
- The black lettering on the function wheels and switches, which at first glance appears elegant, turns out to be less practical depending on the lighting conditions. They are then barely legible.
The new Panasonic camera is a first-class video system that also delivers excellent 2h megapixeI images. Its focus is clearly on filming. The moving image advantages of the S5llX over its sister model, the S511, which are practically exclusive to professional filmers, ensure that the latter proves to be the better, because more cost-effective, choice for a first-class hybrid camera for photographers...
