Der Philips ist ein extrem hochwertiger sowie exzellent verarbeiteter Player, der mit zahlreichen Formaten umgehen kann. Dabei ist die Bildqualität bei DVDs und BDs extrem gut, wobei auch das für den Klang gilt. Einzig das lange Einlesen von BD Scheiben ist hier kritikfähig.
Der Fidelio ist auf der einen Seite ein sehr vielseitiger Player, der auch Smart TV Funktionen beherrscht und auch per DLNA streamen kann. Dabei unterstützt er praktisch jedes Format und klingt sehr gut. Allerdings ist das Navigieren durch das Menü sehr umständlich und vor allen Dingen beim Streamen langsam.
Der Philips macht fast alles richtig und ist dabei sehr gut verarbeitet. Neben zahlreichen Anschlüssen und großer Formatvielfalt ist der Player auch top in Sachen Bild. Somit ein echtes Highlight und dass kleinere Softwarefehler auftraten können mit einem nächsten Update sicherlich behoben werden.
