Product details

The TF-321 from Pixel is a hot shoe adapter for Canon cameras. It allows you to transmit the TTL signal to your Speedlite flash while simultaneously utilizing the flash signal through the X-contact connection. This makes it possible to use your Speedlite flash and your external studio flash at the same time. Depending on the situation, you can also choose to use only your studio flash. The TF-321 is a complete solution that enables you to control the right flash lighting anywhere and anytime. Notably, the TF-321 utilizes not only the central contact but also the additional contact points of your Canon camera. This allows for the use of E-TTL, which enables light metering through your camera lens, provided that your Canon camera and Speedlite flash support this feature. The TTL signal is not transmitted through the X-contact but can only be relayed to the Speedlite flash via the hot shoe on top. The TF-321 feels very solid and is securely attached to your camera's hot shoe thanks to the rotary knob. The universal X-contact cable is available as optional accessory.

If you want to control a studio flash with an X-contact cable using your Canon DSLR or mirrorless camera, the TF-321 is the ideal choice. Optionally, you can continue to use your Speedlite flash simultaneously. This is particularly useful for studio portraits, allowing you to control an additional studio flash for fill or backlighting alongside the main light (Speedlite flash). The combination of a Speedlite flash and a studio flash also offers interesting possibilities when photographing water droplets: you can illuminate the droplets from various angles. Whether with or without color filters, the creative possibilities are vast.
