High-density chassis for the installation of multiple converters

The PLANET MC-1500R48 offers 15 slots for a wide range of PLANET media converter series. It allows the connection of up to 15 PLANET Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, or VDSL2 converters in a single chassis. The 15 slots in the 19" rack save space for fiber optic cabling, simplify the structure, and facilitate the maintenance of media conversion.

Plug and Play / flexible installation

The MC-1500R48 provides flexibility in installation and a cost-effective scalable solution. With independent power supply for each slot of the MC-1500R48, each converter can be hot-swapped without disrupting other converters. Media converters and power modules can be plugged in and used at any time. Each slot of the media converter chassis can be occupied by any series of PLANET media converters, such as FT, GT, VC-20x, and ICS, to enable media conversion between fiber optic, telephone lines, and serial copper lines.
