Does the RT-AX88U Pro have 4 or 8 LAN ports? It would be nice to see a picture of the connections.

Hi, I have an Asus RT-AX88U Pro router. It works fine but is no longer compatible with my old Zenwifi Mesh single adapter (or doesn't work properly). Which Asus AIMesh would you use to expand the wifi network? The aim is to have as strong and stable a connection as possible in a very large flat.

This is a SIM card router, and it can only do 4G, correct? No. You can, for example, operate a mobile phone via USB port and realise a 4G/5G connection via this. Dual WAN is possible (failover and link aggregation). Can it be operated in bridge mode, i.e. as a pure modem? This is possible, but not practical. You are not utilising the great potential of this router. Does anyone know whether a backup file (CFG file) of the old RT-AC88U can be loaded onto the new RT-AX88U?

I have upgraded from an RT-AC88U to the new RT-AX88U. CFG file is loaded correctly by the new router. However, there are comments in some forums advising against this.
