AVM FRITZ!Powerline 510E Set DE, 2 adapters
500 Mbit/s
I never get above 100mbps although Frizbox shows this. So I think it could really be 100mbps connections.
Exactly. The data network signal passes through the power cable.
Not really the device itself. But all power lines over which the data signal is transmitted. Power lines are not designed for data transmission, they are misused for this purpose by means of Powerline.
Digitec has to deliver the device with plugs that fits in swiss sockets. Everything else you do not have to accept.
Hello JörgS94, these are repeaters that are connected to a modem via LAN, after which the Internet is distributed via the power network. In order to receive the Internet at the other end, the other repeater device must be in the same power circuit. Theoretically, you would have to take suitable adapters for the socket with you, as far as I know it should then work? Greetings
I don't quite understand the question. Basically, the powerline is there to expand the home network via the power cable. Respectively, to bring it into a room that cannot be reached via W-LAN or in which there is no network connection. You use the power cable as a data cable within your own home. This does not have much to do with a television connection, etc.
