I bought the predecessor a good 4 years ago. Miserable performance. Never again HP. 1. you need an internet connection + HP login to scan. 2. ink consumption EXTREME. Bought new inks, printed a good 100 pages (for a project, 10% colour, rest text). Only used the printer again after 2 months - printer reports cartridges almost empty. 3. every time you don't print for more than 2-3 days (I can't say the exact period) and then want to print, the message Printer is waiting, please don't switch off. This can take 5-10 minutes and it makes a lot of noise. 4. print quality is poor even with new cartridges. New cartridges in, test page comes out in razor-sharp quality, then print my PDF, and it comes out blurry in places. Warranty claim (not digitec) was rejected as everything is within the normal tolerance deviations.

Do I understand correctly that the machine supports duplex ADF?

I am very dissatisfied for various reasons. Now the question also arises why, after replacing the black cartridge, the others that have not yet been used up - also have to be replaced??? Printing is no longer possible. I would appreciate a quick answer, thank you!

Can this printer scan to PDF format? Or not... only in Tif and other formats?

Through electronic measures and firmware updates, ink cartridges are rendered unusable in this printer, which could be refilled and thus reduce the amount of electronic waste. Absolutely not sustainable! The cheap printer price is just to lure you into the system. Models with refill bottles are better.

Sorry, one more question :-) does the Instant Ink have to be redeemed/registered or can it be omitted?

Compatibility is Windows 7 and 8, but these are very old softwares. Current would be 10 and 11. Are these also supported?

Can the ADF also scan on both sides?

Is this printer also compatible with OSX? In the specs I read only Linux and Windows? However, since Linux is also based on Unix like OSX, compatibility should probably be guaranteed.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 9012e and the 9019e? I've looked everywhere, but apart from the price I don't understand the difference. (I also looked for the 9010e and 9015e, I found very little difference, but for the 9012e and 9019e I can't see any).
