It's difficult to say, because there are already differences between Wlan and Lan. In the end, it does matter who the provider is and how high the buffer time is set. Do you use SmartIPTV on the Sony or another app? Personally I don't see much difference between Mag, Samsung App and Android (Mi Box), all three run the SIPTV platform/app. All three have a good Lan or Wlan connection. I think the devices should have at least 35-40Mbit/s to run properly.

Good day. I think you should ask the question a bit more specifically. How is this IPTV box supposed to be compatible with Swisscom? And why don't you want to spend another CHF 120? What would you like to do with it, or should it work? On the one hand, the IPTV box basically only needs an Internet connection to be able to use the services available on it. Swisscom TV 2.0 itself, for example, will not work with the box, if that's what you mean.
