RØDE PodMic
No, it does not come with an XLR cable. You need to buy a XLR cable separately.
Here we go: PreSonus Studio 26c (USB) Or, even cheaper, this one: Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen (USB)
I don't think so, because the microphone capsule is already suspended within the microphone housing in a structure-borne sound damped manner. My PodMic is attached directly to an M!ka microphone boom using the original mounting bracket (very well designed). I also don't know if the large diameter of the PodMic (62mm) would even fit into a standard spider. So far, I have not experienced any problems with noise via structure-borne sound.
According to our information, the RODE PodMic is compatible with the AMC2 NEO. You just need to make sure that you set the correct gain (approx. 60 dB) and deactivate the 48V phantom power, as the PodMic does not require phantom power.
You need an audio interface for this microphone. I use my goXLR (TC Helicon) but other simpler interfaces are possible (Focusrite).
The microphone does not require phantom power.
As the microphone is equipped with internal pop protection, this should not really be necessary. I would recommend that you test the microphone and, if you find certain S/Z sounds too aggressive, purchase an external pop filter.
The microphone only has a 3-pin XLR connection.
I can recommend dif that rode pode mic, I need gensu for that, it gives clearer and cleaner sound whether it is rap, scream vocals pder normal vocals.
I have attached the microphone to an adjustable microphone boom. The microphone arm itself is attached to the stand-alone table, immediately adjacent to my work table. This automatically isolates the microphone from the structure-borne sound of the work table. This works without the slightest problem, but does not necessarily help at another location, as the local situation can be very different.
No, it has to be bought separately!
Yes, probably. Try a cheap Audio-Interface instead. For example this one: Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 (USB)
It's gonna work with most mic stands and arms. It's one of the most common used mics in podcasting and never have i heard of it being too heavy for some stands/Arms
No, sold without the XLR cable.
Hello Ulrichkaiser The mic has an XLR output. This means that you need a mixer to connect it directly to your notebook. Here you can find a list of micros that you can connect without an adapter.
